We are very pleased to welcome our student members attending the IAEE International Conference in Rio de Janeiro. We have put together a Student Program during the conference which includes the following events:

1) Student Reception (following Opening Reception)

8:00 – 10:30 pm on Sunday, June 6.

The student reception is an opportunity to meet most of the students attending IAEE Conference. This happy hour will start out as a student-only gathering; towards the end we will be joined by other conference attendees interested in networking with students. More information will be provided by email letter.

2) Student Breakfast Meeting

7:30 – 8:30 am on Monday, June 7.

Topazio & Tumalina room, ground level.

During breakfast we will provide a brief overview of the services IAEE offer to students and its Student Chapters. You will also have the chance to meet members of the IAEE Council and to talk with them about the field of energy economics and professional opportunities in the field.

3) IAEE Best Student Paper Award Competition

11:30 am – 01:00 p.m. on Monday, June 7, Esmeralda room.

Five recipients of the IAEE Best Student Paper Award will present their work to a panel of judges and compete for the top award. Everyone is encouraged to attend this exciting special paper session!
