Alternative hotel

The 33rd IAEE Conference will be held at InterContinental hotel which is located at São Conrado neighborhood.  The Brazilian Student Organizing Committee recommends you Leblon, Ipanema and Copacabana neighborhoods as the best areas to find alternative accommodation mostly because of safety, access to transportation and hotel/hostel availability.

The map shown below displays São Conrado, Leblon, Ipanema and Copacabana neighborhoods as well as part of South Zone of Rio (in Portuguese: “Zona Sul do Rioâ€).

Considering the large number of hotels available, reservations and confirmations should be done by your own using internet. Some websites can help your search: http://www.hostelworld.com, http://www.hihostels.com, http://www.booking.com, http://www.clickhotels.com, http://www.travelnow.com.

Instead of looking for alternative hotels, students can also try room sharing at the InterContinental hotel (Please click here).

(*Important: IAEE and AB3E are not responsible for bookings, payments and services related to the websites mentioned above).
